| Chesterfiled Thanksgiving Day 5K, out at the Chesterfield Mall. Started and finished at the YMCA, basically ran around the mall. Hillier than I would have thought, nothing too steep, but some long climbs. Last mile was mostly downhill so was able to kick it in a bit. Ran with Bob from FFRC, he said he was going to go slow, but then seemed to always be a step ahead of me, heh. 3.09 miles by the garmin in 26:57, 8:43 pace, splits of 9:17, 8:49, 8:08 and 42 seconds for the final bit (7:45 pace). Heart rate was high, 169, with it at 178 for the final bit. Fun race, overall I was 715 out of 2279, for men I was 516 out of 1106, and for my age group I was 55 out of 107. Good for me (: |
