Not Even June Yet

Not even June yet, and when I got out the door shortly after 8am it was already 76F and muggy - when I got back around 10am it was 85F. Needless to say I wasn't ready for that, and it showed. Only got in 8 miles instead of 10, had to walk up several hills. 8 miles in 1:31:25, avg pace of 11:25, splits of 10:41, 10:46, 10:57, 11:15, 11:56, 11:28, 12:28 and 11:51. AHR of 162, even with the walking. Last run before the Hospital Hill Run in Kansas City this coming weekend.
