Cats and Dogs!

Ride started off well - beginning at the Lake and heading over to the Katy Trail, then south west, making it to Augusta about 27.8 miles out. Stopped, had my GuO2, a Cliff Bar, then headed back. Shortly after HWY 40, it started getting real windy then started to rain. Then it started to pour. I was soaked and a mess since the trail is not paved. Decided to have Judy come meet me at the Greens Bottom trail stop, which is 7 miles from the Lake, so I ended up making 48.56 miles, avg speed of 15.2, best mile was 17.4mph while on the paved spur to the Katy Trail. Riding in the rain wasn't *too* bad, but I had one newly fallen tree on the trail that I had to lift my bike over, and wasn't sure if the storm was passing or just beginning. AHR of 146 for the ride.
