When I started running longer distances, I would plot out the course I took into gmaps-pedometer or such so I could 'see' it on a map and think to myself 'wow that's a long ways', it was a cool feeling.
With biking, that feeling is magnified. I went on a 3 1/2 hour bike ride last weekend, and when I got back, I brought my 52 mile ride up in Ascent (Mac only software but very snazzy) and took this screen shot. That's a long freakin way, out and back.
Enjoying my day off from training... ahhhhh.
