St Louis Marathon 2007

Well, did not go as well as I had hoped, but I did finish, and I did better my Memphis time (barely). Got up at 4am, ran around the block, ate some breakfast, went to the bathroom and headed down. It was a brisk 35F out in the morning, so needed to dress more warmly than I had wanted to. 4:52:37, average pace of 11:10, AHR of 162, was 1436 of 1854 finishers, 1031 of 1241 men. Course was hilly hilly and wore me out. Splits of 12:19, 10:02, 10:40, 10:25, 10:00, 10:11, 10:24, 10:26, 9:50, 10:33, 10:16, 11:52 and 10:10 for the first half, with a 2:20:20 half marathon split. 10:47, 11:02, 11:23, 10:42, 12:00, 11:01, 12:10, 12:04, 10:19, 12:40, 11:16, 12:25, 12:02 and 5:27 for the final .49 miles on the garmin. Slowed quite a bit the second half, with around a 2:32:17 second half.
